The collective installation Das ist nicht was du denkst, was created as part of the Summer Festival Kulturhaus Baumschulenweg 2024, an artistic residency and festival held in July and August. During the first month, four interdisciplinary artists – Elissa de Brito, Evgenia Chetvertkova, Gustiele Fistaról, and Kim Wichera – developed interactive installations that explored the building's history and memory. The immersive work, which occupied five rooms of the house, was presented on August 2nd and 3rd and also included workshops and performances, engaging the audience in a transdisciplinary experience.

The project aimed to bring visibility to the cultural center and strengthen its connection with the community, especially during its current transformation phase. To achieve this, performative actions extended beyond the Kulturhaus, reaching key locations in Baumschulenweg. Combining site-specific research, performance, dance, sound, and audiovisual elements, the installation proposed a new perspective on the space, challenging ingrained perceptions and inviting the public to imagine fresh narratives for the venue through an "inverted logic."
